LYPA Rider of the Week: Kylie Robinson
Lakota’s Young Professional Association is proud to support riders of all disciplines- this week we wanted to spotlight one of our reiners! It was fun catching up with Kylie Robinson and finding out more about her journey in the saddle!
5 Quick Questions:
Q: How did you get into riding?
I started riding about 4 years ago and got into the reiners shortly after that. I always loved horses since I was little and the reining horses always stuck out to me!
Q:Do you have a good luck charm?
To calm my show nerves I like to be left alone before I get on and I listen for the music that is playing in the arena.
Q:Why do you ride?
I ride because I love the adrenaline, being with my horses no matter what is a good feeling, I love showing and hope to be a NRHA Professional trainer someday.
Q:How do you calm those pesky show nerves?
To calm my show nerves I like to be left alone before I get on and I listen for the music that is playing in the arena.
Q: What’s the best piece of horse advice you’ve been given?
The best thing I have ever been told is “Just go in and ride. You have nothing to prove”.
