BIO

“My name is Whitney Iskenderian and I am from Visalia, California. Tardee is my go to rodeo horse and he is a been there done that type of guy. I have been riding for almost 2 years now and my first accomplishment has been becoming an intern for Susan’s riding lessons. She later announced me as 2016 Youth Intern of the year. In November of 2016 I competed in an open breed local horse show and out of the two events we competed in we received a 1st place for Showmanship in hand and a third place for a Country Pleasure class. My most recent and biggest accomplishment is holding the title for 2017 Springville Rodeo Princess! I have had so much fun traveling to different rodeos and representing.
Not to long ago I bought a horse named, Duke and he has had a rough life without a lot of training. At 15 we classified him as green broke. We still have our problems but we have come a long way from where we began. This leads in to how I recently started looking up to Fallon Taylor. What I love most about her is that she wants to prove everybody who thinks a horse who isn’t the best cant be the best or cant improve to be a lot better wrong. At first I struggled with people saying the same thing but like Fallon you have to keep on pushing. I am just starting with horses but I have so much more to learn and so much farther to go!”
