My name is Taylor Collins, I’m a Senior at Milton High School. I’m from a small town in the Panhandle of Florida called Milton. I’ve been riding horses for 6 years but I’ve owned horses since I was 7. I currently work at a ranch here in my hometown and I’m constantly around different horses everyday. I’ve won belt buckles and other awards while barrel racing. My barrel mare is 18 years old but runs like she’s 7. I’ve owned her since she was 13 years old and she’s the queen of the mare attitude. She’s a difficult horse to run but her heart to please me makes it worth it. She enters the arena with a mindset to win. Even if we don’t leave the barrel race with money, I always remember how hard she tries for me. My role models include Lisa Lockhart and Sherry Cervi, I really enjoy their riding styles and the horses they run.
