Hi, my name is Taylor Gillis and am 16 years old. I was born and raised in Bakersfield, California. I have been attending barrel races for about a year and a half now but have been riding since I was 7 years of age.
Recently I have been placing in the top 15 of 80+ girls when competing. I also made it in the top 5 for Double R Productions for their 2016 saddle series with 50+ women. Though my barrel racing career has been short it has been with great accomplishments thanks to my friends, family and fellow barrel racers. My goal is to one day make it to the WNFR. Next year in October I plan on entering WPRA Junior with my horse Kricket. My horse has brought me so far already and I can’t wait to see what our future holds.
