BIO
My name is Tayler Schwabenbauer and I come from a family of riders of all disciplines. I live in a town called Edinboro, Pennsylvania. We get a lot of snow, but that never impedes me from doing what I love in the practice pen. I was born on October 17, 2000. I’ve been riding as soon as my family could get me on a horse. I entered my first lead line class when I was 2 years old at the county fair. I competed and excelled in 4-H in multiple events. When I was 8 years old I was district champion in pleasure pony driving, 3rd in pony pleasure, and champion yearling stock type halter. I went onto states, and I placed reserve champion in halter. The next year, I went back to place as champion in halter when my filly was a 2 year old. Once that goal was accomplished, I set my mind to barrel racing.
I purchased my horse Miss Peppy San Uno (peppy) in 2011 and we rose up to accomplish many goals and take titles in Pennsylvania, New York, and Ohio. We also competed in Ohio High School rodeo, and rode in West Virginia, Indiana, and all over Ohio. In 2013 I decided to go to the All American Quarter Horse Congress where we placed 4th in pole bending. One of my goals is to qualify and run at the Best of the Best in Cloverdale, Indiana. This goal I expect to achieve in the 2017 season. One person I look up to is Sherri Cervi. She is a humble and an amazing rider all around.
