BIO
Hi!
My name is Taryn Brownlee I was born and raised in Mount Pleasant, TX. I’ve been riding horses since I was five years old. I recently had two years of professional training in western pleasure with Mack Wilson. I showed western pleasure for the two years I took lessons, and my two year old and I placed 2nd in the RRHC futurity in 2015. I personally had always wanted to run barrels, so at the end of last year I stopped showing and started to focus on barrel racing. I have won many checks at jackpots. I am currently running in the 3D open and 2D youth in tough Texas competition. The biggest race I have run at so far was four states in Texarkana Arkansas. There where about 600 runners and I didn’t have a amazing run but I ended up being in the 4D open on my back up horse. I go to barrel races 1-2 times a week. I currently own 2 barrel horses, a 3 year old western pleasure horse, and a 7 month old filly.
I am looking to improve myself as a rider everyday and work to accomplish my goals.
