BIO
My name is Sydney Reed and I am from Boerne, TX. I was born on July 11, 2003. I have been competing competitevly for two years. One of my proud accomplishments is at a local rodeo, YHCHC. I came in fifth all around last year and second all around this year. I also came in sixth overall at the Tejas Summer Series. I am headed to the district 4h show this month. One of my current goals is to make it to the state 4h show and place in the top. A long term goal is to make it to the higher AQHA barrel races. My role model is Fallon Taylor because she stands up for protecting your head and breaking the helmet stigma, which is also very important to me. She also has a never say die attitude that I highly admire. My horse’s name is Peppy San Suzy aka Qhloe. I have trained her myself from a lawn ornament to a 4D/5D barrel, 3D/4D pole horse in just over five months. She shows great potential and I plan on her turning out as a 1D barrel and pole mare. Qhloe loves having her stomach scratched; she will stick her tongue out. Also, whenever it is feeding time she will move her lips in a cute way.
