Specific Styles: Barrel Racing
Primary Horse’s Name: Uno

I’ve only been barrel racing for just over a year, and had to train a friends horse on the pattern. That’s what got me started with barrel racing competitively. I won a couple checks for the horse ending up being first in Youth and Novice 2D. I’m very proud to be able to say I trained an honest 2D horse that went from very difficult to ride to a great kids horse I have ever seen. Though I know more are to come! I recently bought my horse Uno on August 21 and have lightly started her on the pattern, we will be competing once the season starts again in Spring. I have three role models, each of which have had a huge impact on me. My mom has been a role model for me everyday in my life by supporting and encouraging my dream, and getting me where I am now. Allen Skimming for teaching me how to ride hard and being an amazing instructor, and for ALWAYS making me work hard. Lisa Lockheart for being and amazing barrel racer and inspiring me to really start barrel racing and start all my horses on the pattern myself.I am very proud to say God is my lord and savior and after every run thank him for allowing me to walk out of the arena with my best friend below me safe and sound.
