BIO
My name is Sophie and am currently 13 and live in California. I have loved horses since the day I could walk, but I have only been showing horses for about 5 years now. My horse, Socketts Fancy Doll, AKA Fancy is an 11 year old paint horse mare. I have owned Fancy for 4 years and have trained her in the all around events. Before I bought Fancy she was being trained in the speed events and in the past I have also competed in ranch horse classes and I started teaching her roping. Fancy has done a variety of events and I hope to continue to build on it! I compete at 4H, open, and APHA shows at least once a month. At 4H shows I compete in the all around, and at APHA shows I compete in Shomanship, Hunter Under Saddle, and Hunt Seat Equitation. During 2018 I plan on competing in Trail and Hunter Hack as well, at APHA shows. One of my main goals during 2018 is to get my ROM in Showmanship, Hunter Under Saddle, and Hunt Seat Equitation. One thing that I have been dreaming of for a long time now is to compete at the APHA world show, and in the future I would like to breed my mare and take both her and her foal to the APHA world show to compete. I am looking forward to what is ahead!
