My name is Skyla Yates and I am from Lemoore, California. I was born on September 17, 2002. I’ve been riding for as long as I could remember. I have won a saddle pad and breast collar from barrel racing, along with a buckle from a trail competition and many other small prizes from gymkhanas. I am on Tulare County Cowgirls drill team and I compete in CGA although I used to ride for CCBR. I also do many open barrel races and rodeos in my area and have also ran for a queen competition. I am hoping to learn more with my horse and become better in my barrel racing career. My horses name is Montana aka Montana Smooth Cat she is a loving paint mare that is always trying to please!
