BIO

“Hello, my name is Sierra, and I turned 15 last December. this is my horse, Sunny. I’m not originally from Virginia, but from Williamsport, PA. I was around livestock such as horses, cattle, and pigs from a very young age. I loved to ride around with either my father or my great uncle on one of the old trail horses my uncle had. Since then I’ve been to a few places to ride here and there including a camp in North Carolina, where I jumped and did speed. Horses have always meant a lot to me and helped me on my worst days.
After moving to Virginia and finding an amazing western barn, I finished my first year of showing in 2018. I switched horses to a not-so-nice mare named Sunny. After a while I grew very attached to her and I now love her so much; since then we’ve come such a long way, and are definitely ready for the nearing show season! This year my goal for Sunny and I is to make it to the VA State Horse Show, and maybe even to the South-West Regional 4-H Show in Georgia. I cannot wait to bring home all the beans with her this year and become a better team. Though horses are silent creatures, they are God’s loudest gift to those who will listen.”
