BIO
“Looking back, I don’t really have a memory of not riding horses. My sister, Callie, got me into horses. I learned how to ride English first, but I switched to riding western when she did. We started riding at small local game shows. I was in third grade when I started. I was fortunate enough to have amazing horses for the 4 years we competed there. I won the championship 3 out of the 4 years we showed there. There was a few other shows here and there between the main one we went to.
After the game shows, we looked for a little bit more competition. We started to go to NBHA shows. Due to family issues I couldn’t go as regularly as I wish I would have. In 2016 my sister bought Imp Little Trouble, AKA Trouble. As soon as I sat on that little horse my life changed. In 2017 I ran NBHA in the Youth class for the last year. Trouble and I placed in the top 1D every show, as long as we didn’t knock a barrel. We showed at the Syracuse Spectacular Super Show 2017, which was very fun and taught me a lot. In September, I won second place in the Maryland/Delaware NBHA State Finals. That is probably my proudest moment. I look up to Fallon Taylor and everything she has gone through and accomplished despite several set backs. I love everything she stands for. I strive to be like her.”
