BIO
My name is Sherra Mershon and I am from Austin, Texas! I am currently a working student with three jobs and am studying Animal Science Emphasis Equine. I own an off the track rescue thoroughbred named Koda. He’s is 16.2h and just turned 9 years old. We have been showing competitively for a year and a half now and we are hooked! I trained Koda myself straight from the rescue and into the show ring. He is the horse of a lifetime. This past year (our first year showing) we competed on the lonestar horse show super series in San Antonio, Tx at the Rose Palace. To my surprise we took home TWO separate champion titles in show jumpers. Our first year in the ring together; what a talented horse. We have future plans to get on a Houston super series this next year and to take home more titles! Our biggest goal is to show in a prix one day. My role model is Gia Rinaldi, she is young, confident and ambitious much like myself.
