“Born and raised in Texas, I began riding when I was 6, and trained early in English Hunter/Jumper, but switched to Western Rodeo events 2 years ago. There is no place I’d rather be than the barn.
My mom says I practically live there.
This is my first year of competitive youth rodeo. My horse and I are finishing consistently in the points for barrels, poles, and rodeo flags. Our current fastest times are: barrels – 19.6, poles – 25.6, rodeo flags – 9.8, and we are showing steady improvement with each appearance.
I m currently trying to start a rodeo team for middle and senior high school students with my riding friends at our barn. I am a dedicated rider and look forward to many more years of competitive riding and setting a great example as a Lakota Young Professional.”
