BIO
My name is Shelby Johnson, I live in McRae Arkansas. I started rodeoing at the age of 3, I played high school volleyball, softball, cheered, and ran track. I was also junior class secretary/treasurer, but I decided to home school senior year to focus on my horses. I have won two All-Around saddles and I’ve placed in several added money barrel races, including 2 races at the Elite Extravaganza in Waco, TX. My Main horse is named “Prison” because he came out of the Arkansas prison system, I trained him myself and he has been one of my biggest blessings for 6 years. I love to train horses, rope, run barrels, and give riding lessons to younger kids wanting to learn! I’m currently training a 3 year old who I got as a graduation present. I look up to Amberly Snyder Because she is so encouraging and supportive of everyone and she never gave up after her wreck!
