BIO

“My name is Scarlet Brantley, I am the current St Tammany Parish rodeo queen. I was born in Houston, Texas, on April 6, 1999. My family moved back to Louisiana when I was very young. I started riding and competing years ago when we bought my first registered horse, Chip. Some of my accomplishments other than being rodeo queen include two time HAHA youth barrels and youth all around champion, and LHSA 2016 reserve /2017 Junior Champion. My family has eight horses in total, including our SPCA rescue, Phoenix.
My long term goals are to be a world champion and congress champion in freestyle and NonPro reining. I am an undergrad at SELU studying Integrative Biology and hope to one day be a large animal vet specializing in breeding. I consider Sarah Rose Mcdonald, Kathy Grimes, Fallon Taylor, and Stacy Westfall to all be wonderful role models and would love to be as influential and inspiring as them one day. I strive to be one percent better every day, and to put the best effort forward both crown on and crown off!”
