My name is Samantha Mayberry, I have been competing in rodeos since I was 3. My dad and oldest brother Dakota have played a big part in where I am today. Without them hauling me to rodeos every weekend and throughout the week I wouldn’t have won any of my buckles, halters, breast collars, and bridles. There have been many times I have wanted to give up after a bad run, or my horse and I not getting along but looking up to my family that never quit in anything I knew I couldn’t. So for about 4 years now I have had a horse that we just have a special bond with each other and we get along better than any other horse I have ever ran on. So I’m very thankful that the good lord and my family has helped me so much in my rodeo career. Gotta say I’m thankful I get to live this crazy rodeo life!
