BIO

Hi there! My name is Roxanne koler, and I compete in Rodeo and Barrel Racing with my 2 horses Drifter and Cash. I have been competing competitively for the past 5 years and I’ve had my mare, Drifter, for 3 years now. I patterned her myself and have taken her from trotting the pattern to winning all-around buckles at the rodeo series’ we compete at! I compete in barrels, poles, and goat tying on her, although we will do gymkhanas every once in a while, usually taking reserve high point or high point! My gelding, Cash, is my rope horse that I use for steer daubing, steer stopping, and team roping! Together, all three of us make a great team and I am proud to call them mine!

I compete at least 3 times a month almost all year (not December, January, or February because the roads don’t allow for trailering at those times). This past summer we won 4 buckles together: Barrel Racing, Steer Stopping, Steer Daubing, and the All-around buckle for my age group. Previously, we won another all around buckle in 2014, and are consistently pulling checks at races.
