My name is Rose Escobar I was born on September 26, 2002 and live in Salinas California. My goal in life is to professionally barrel race. After I graduate I plan on studying Equine Dentistry and Chiropractic. I currently just won the 2019 Miss Salinas Valley Fair Title and plan on running for Miss California Rodeo Salinas in 2021. I’ve been on the back of a horse my entire life but for the last 6 years I’ve been competing in local ranch rodeos, Jr. Rodeos, and jackpot barrel races. I am currently a member of the West Coast Barrel Racing Association and Triple Seven Barrel Racing Association, I have qualified and competed in the 2017 and 2018 WCBRA Finals and the 2018 TSBRA Finals I also ran the Pageant of the flags at the 2018 California Rodeo Salinas. My horse Exhibit is 11 years old and is off the track, he’s a free runner with a heart of gold and a mile long stride. I got him November of 2017 and it was love at first sight. We have this connection that can’t even be put into words, he’s one in a million.
