BIO
My name is Riley Jay Otwell, I was born October 17, 2003. I am from a small town out of Waskom, Texas. I am currently the TJHRA Region V Vice President. I have been competing in the sport of rodeo for five years. I currently tie down, team rope, goat tie, breakaway, team pen, and ranch sort. I also enjoy ranch rodeos. I have won many awards but the few that I am most proud of are winning the 2015 Cole Depriest memorial rider of the year, and winning the All around at SCSP two years in a row. My role model is Trevor Brazil because of his genuine attitude and extraordinary sportsmanship he gives to the rodeo world. My goal is to make it to State this year for the TJHRA in Gonzales, Texas. I have three horses that I work with on a daily basis, not only to make them better; but myself better as well. I enjoy volunteering my spare time in helping train and assist with horses.
