BIO

My name is Riley Touchette, I am from a small town called St. Libory, Illinois. I have been riding since I was 2 years old, but competitively showing for 4 years. My grandpa and I have a horse trading business called M&R Horses & Mules, in which I ride the horses for show. I am a member of the Madison County Trailblazers and Illinois Boots and Saddles Club. At these shows, I compete in barrels, poles, flags, and other speed events. My role models are Fallon Taylor, Lisa Lockhart, and Clinton Anderson. Fallon Taylor and Lisa Lockhart have inspired me to become a barrel racer. Clinton Anderson has helped me become a better horseman and let me get to know my horses better. My horses’ names are Fireball and Badger’s Miss Amigo. Fireball is a Missouri Foxtrotter and I use her for trail riding. Badger’s Miss Amigo is a part of the AQHA, and her barn name is Flamingo. I use her for speed events and trail riding also. In the future I plan on making it to the NBHA Finals next year and hopefully placing.
