BIO
My name is Regan Davis, I am currently competing across California in barrel races, junior rodeos and gymkhanas. Next year, I will also be competing in California District 1 High School Rodeo. I am currently also involved in Future Farmers of America where I earned my Greenhand Degree and Agriscience Proficiency Award. In fourth grade, I had the honor of receiving the Ruby Mae Briggs Award. This is an annual award given to one student within K-8th grade at Chico Christian School, that demonstrates the most motivational and inspirational acts during and after school. In barrel racing, I place anywhere between 1D and 4D, depending on which of my horses I am riding. On Lottolicous, in the 1st go at the 2017 Classic Barrel Racing Summer Finals we won the youth 1D! I was beyond excited! Double Fire Bar is consistently placing in the top of the 4D. At the 2017, Bud Light 3000, she won the 4D title! I also compete on Coats Streakin’ Cash, my six year old gelding, who usually places in the 2D and the 3D. I always strive to be my very best at everything I do. I have always looked up to a few ladies that constantly demonstrate that. My role models are Lea Orsburn, Jennifer Caiati and Lisa Lockhart. Lea Orsburn is beautiful inside and out and always finds the inner beauty in everyone she encounters. Since I was very young, I have always looked up to, my Aunt Jen. She has always been so supportive of me and all of my dreams. Since I was in peewee’s riding her top barrel horse, to when she couldn’t ride due to a horseback riding accident. She has always been by my side, giving me advice and cheering me on. I am very inspired by her will to never ever give up. I love the positivity and strive of all of these ladies but Lisa Lockhart’s dedication to always try your very best stands out to me. I would never be where I am today without the help of my amazing equine and support team for always helping me make my dreams a reality!
