BIO

I’m Rachael Schultz and meet Jack! Him and I each have a story on how we ended up in each others lives! I started in the saddle at three years old pretty much bouncing around in the saddles until I started riding competitive. I was in and out of many sports including cheer leading, gymnastics, teakwondo, and many more. However, horses always had a spot in my heart. I competed in many of my local gymkhanas until I met Jack Jack who happened to be a horse I just trained with. I learned so much from my 14.5 hand morgan mustang mix that I ended up buying after leasing him for a year. He came from Yampa Valley, CO where he ended up in the hands of many people before me. I later came familiar about his “bad-behavior” stories which led me to come to reality that he is a “one rider” horse. That didn’t hold him or I back from gaining each others trust and respect. Him and I have competed in many barrel races and gymkhanas in the western region over the past two years. I’m looking forward to build up the barrel racing world and the overall sport of rodeo. Promoting kindness and compassion to all your competitors, for you wouldn’t be winning checks or ribbons without having them to compete against. I couldn’t do what I do with out a supportive group of people and a driven little horse who bleeds his heart out for me and sets his mind to anything that may stand in his way.”Long live the barrel horse.”

I have a YouTube channel where I post my runs and feedback!
