“My name is Payton Kies. I am from a small town in California. I have been riding from when I could walk. I mainly barrel race and pole bend. Pepper was a diamond in the rough and I couldn’t be happier about where we are today and how much we have progressed. She is the horse I have been looking for for so long after so many bad experiences and not clicking with other horses. It has almost been 2 years of me having her and it is a huge accomplishment for me to have trained her on all the patterns she knows today.
Sarah Rose McDonald is a huge inspiration to me because I went to one of her clinics which gave me a huge push in the direction I needed.
One of my long-term goals is to make it to the NFR before 30 and my short term goal is to make it to as many barrel races I can this year. ”
