Hi! My name is Payton Bush and I am 17 years old. I have been riding since I was 6 as a Hunter Jumper and four years ago I decided to start Barrel Racing. I found my dream horse (Hail to Grace) who now goes by the name of Phable simply because she is my “fairytale”. She is a very high strung Thoroughbred and was trained by me for the past 4 years, she absolutely loves her job and that makes me love mine even more! Phable and I have achieved some goals along the way like, 2015 No Bull Finale Youth 3D Champion, 2016 NBHA NC03 Youth 1D top 6, 2016 Martha Josey Clinic 1D Champion, 2016 NC High School Rodeo State Finals top 5 and 2x Youth World Finalist. I recently have purchased a second horse who goes by Pledge. He is trying to figure the barrel world out and is coming along nicely! I travel every weekend to barrel races in the South East for the following associations, Women’s Professional Rodeo Association Jr’s, World Barrel Racing League, and National Barrel Horse Association. I am very dedicated to what I do and hope to go far in years to come!
