“Hi! My name is Nicole Bottomly and I’m 18 years old! I grew up in the city but knew it wasn’t for me at a young age. I’ve been riding since I was 3 but didn’t get a horse of my own until the age of 16. I struggle with depression, anxiety and PTSD so horses have always been an escape for me.
My mare, Fire Cracker (Fire),is a 9 year old QH/Mustang. I trained her on barrels on my own, and she has turned out so wonderfully. Me and her have accomplished so much within months, clocking times at the top of 2D already. We curreny sit 15th in the state of South Carolina, and I know we will continue to grow. We may not be at the top just yet, but we’re names you won’t ever forget.”
