My name is Nacona Stone, I am about to turn 16 this month! I have been in rodeo for longer than I can remember. My life has consisted of nothing but rodeo. I rope, tie goat, and occasionally run barrels. I compete in lots of associations including ones in Texas and Louisiana. I am a member of the LRCA. I am also a current member of the THSRA region V. I will compete in Abilene at the beginning June. My goals are to go to the LRCA finals and make it to nationals. I am ready to pursue my dream while doing rodeo. After high school I want to college rodeo while becoming a Occupational Therapist Assistant. Two of my biggest mentors are my parents, they always are there for me when I need them and they always have the right things to say when I’m down. I am blessed beyond measures to have the horses I have and be able to do what I do.
