BIO
My name is Morgan Washington and I am proudly accompanied by my horse Blue. Me and Blue have been competing in smaller rodeos and jackpots together for 3 years and there are many more to come! Blue holds a special spot in my heart because we have been each others companion every since I can remember. We enjoy roping, pole bending, and barrel racing. In the past 2 years I have been teaching Blue the barrel pattern and now we are finally at the point to start competing competitively in the barrels together. Just this year I started to learn the event of team roping. Blue taught me a lot over the year about the event, I am so proud of myself for sticking with the process through the thick and thin and I am thankful to have such an amazing horse to do it on. I remember feeling the most proud when Blue and I were awarded a Buckle for winning the Novice barrels at Wiley City Rodeo this year. I look up to Lisa Lockhart because she’s such an humble person in and out of the arena and I strive to be the amazing competitor she is.
