My name is Morgan Elder. I am from a small town in Caddo Mills, Texas. I currently own 7 amazing horses. Teddy one of my horses and my main barrel and pole horse he has won me a lot of prizes and money. I am super proud for how far I have come with him. I recently just got another horse that is my new back up horse and his name is Spud. He has never seen a pattern in his life and his first time ever running barrels he ran a 15.5 second run!! My goal every year is to get better time as I enter the arena and not to worry about anyone elses times just mine. Like I always say ” Quitters never win, and winners never quit!” That quote is by Martha Josey! My role model is Martha Josey she helps me out a lot I love competing In her barrels races she has once a year. I also am a student in most of her clinics during the year they are like my second family over there. After my first clinic with Mrs. Martha I just keep going back to her clinics because she has helped me become a much better rider and has pushed me to believe in myself. I am really excited to see what the future has for me and my horses!!
