My name is Mindy Russell and I live in a very small town called Kenner, Wyoming. We only have a population of 45! I have enjoyed the sport of reining sine 2014 after I got my first horse named Linden. Some of my proudest accomplishments include Getting 17th at the NAAC youth 13 and under in 2015, Marking a 72 on my new mare Ammanda Jane at our first show and winning the level one and level two green reiner. My role models include Casey Deary, Cira Baeck, Tracer Gilson, and lastly my trainer Mack Weaver. All of these people have done very well in their show career and they have all built their way up to the top. I admire how humble each of these people are and I would like to get to their level one day. My trainer inspires me to do better every time I ride with him encouraging me that my mare and I can do better. My top goal this year would be to make it to OKC and go on to win Rookie of the year on my mare Snip (Ammanda Jane).
