Hi, I’m Michelle Youngblood! Growing up I have always been on the back of a horse. My aunt put me in the performance ring when I was about 10, but I never seemed to click with it as I always wanted something a little more exciting. Around my freshman year (2013/2014) I had met a girl (my now best friend) who barrel races, and long story short I am hooked and wouldn’t trade it for the world. It wasn’t easy at first since my parents made me prove to them that switching events was worth it, but of course that paid off. My role model would for sure be my aunt as without her and her support I wouldn’t be where I am today.
