“Hi! My name is Megan Haller. I am 18 years old and I am from Maine. I started barrel racing about 3 years ago. I own a 6 year old quarter horse chestnut mare. Her name is Ellie. I rescued Ellie a little over a year ago and since then I have done all of her training with the guidance of my trainer. This year was the first year that I got to show with Ellie and we got reserve champion overall and high point in almost every event we entered in at one of our local show series.
After I graduate high school, I will be moving to New Jersey to compete in bigger rodeos, keep improving Ellie’s training, and continue to work towards our goals and our future together as a team.”
