MaKaylee Butler, Barrel Racing
Hometown: Post, TX
Riding Style: Western
Specific Styles: Barrel Racing
Primary Horse’s Name: Tammy Crackerjack Girl

I was born in West Texas, every free moment I have I spend it on the back of a horse. Tammy Crackerjack Girl or “Tammy” has been in my life for five years and together we have won six saddles and eleven belt buckles all across the state! We are also two time qualifiers for the race of champions in Amarillo Texas, BBR world finals in Oklahoma City, and one time qualifier for State Pole Bending in Gonzales TX for Junior High Rodeo Association!
There are so many people that have helped me along the way but, my biggest role model is my dad. He has driven me and my horses over 15,000 miles in 2016 just for barrel races across the state of Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma! He has taught me so much about horses I would not be where I am today without my dad! I hope the Lakota Young Professionals Association will bring me one step closer to my dream of becoming a pro!
