My name is Makayla Delcour, I’m 18 years old and I’m from Osceola, Missouri. I’ve been riding competitively since I was 10 years old. I have trained 4 horses myself that I have competed on and currently am competing on. I was the Missouri Family Rodeo Association 15-19 pole bending champion in 2015 as well as the Missouri Family Rodeo Association 15-19 All-Around Cowgirl. In 2016, I was the Missouri Family Rodeo Association 15-19 barrel racing champion as well as open barrel racing champion. I was the 15-19 and open barrel racing champion at the Missouri State Family Rodeo Championships in 2016.
In the summer of 2016, I traveled to Gifford, Illinois to compete in Nationals for National Barrel Horse Association. I also traveled to Shawnee, Oklahoma to compete in the International Finals Youth Rodeo held every year at the Heart of Oklahoma Expo Center. I compete in several IPRA rodeos throughout the new seasons, MFRA, MRCA, ORA, and barrel races all over the states.
