My name is Maggie Rae Smith and I’m from a semi small town in Alabama. I have been riding and competing with barrel horses since I was 5 years old and I am now 17.
I have won multiple saddles, and awards throughout my career. Along with a few super show placings and wins and also local show wins.
I not only compete on my own horses but also people bring me their horses to jockey on a regular basis. I absolutely love barrel racing and I couldn’t see myself doing anything else. Its a passion.
I have several role models. I have always looked up to Sherri Cervi, Martha Josey, Fallon Taylor, and recent role model of mine has become to be Sarah Rose McDonald.
