BIO
My name is Madison Walsh and I am from a small town called Winchester, California. I have been surrounded by horses pretty much my entire life and in summer of 2014, I decided to get more serious with my riding. I fell in love instantly and in late 2015 I started attending gymkhanas. I competed with my previous gelding Odis until about March of 2016. In February of 2016, we bought my current horse Cash and he didn’t know anything about barrel racing or gymkhana. It has been a tough road to get where we are now, but it’s been worth it. After doing gymkhana for a while, I figured I’d try attending barrel races which we just started recently. I am proud of my horse Cash and I because we pulled checks at our first and third barrel race together. We also bumped to AAA in our first full gymkhana season together and are becoming more and more consistent with every run. Two of my goals are to pursue barrel racing more and become a better rider overall.
