“I am a 15 year-old who had the opportunity to skip high school and go straight to college through the Georgia Move on When Ready program. I just started my second year and I love it as it allows me to spend more time riding. I am a biology major and am on target to graduate with my Bachelor of Science degree before I would have graduated with my high school diploma. I am the current president of the Alabama Palomino Exhibitors Association, as well as the president-elect of the PHBA Youth Executive Board.
My horse, William, who I have had since July 27, 2017, has taught me how to trust again. We plan to spend the rest of this year getting to know each other and growing as one. Next year, we will be competing in the AQHA and PHBA circuits. Each year my trainer and I set goals for the year, and we have BIG goals for 2018.”
