BIO

My name is Maddy Jenkins and I’m from Linn, Missouri. I began riding horses when I was three years old and began rodeoing on a regular basis just two short years ago, with my first competitive season as a member of an association being summer 2015, where I won reserve year end barrel racing champ, reserve finals pole bending champ, and both the year end and finals champion in ribbon roping.
I am extremely proud of these accomplishments, but am most proud of my horse, Skip, that I trained myself on barrels and poles with a lot of self-gained knowledge. She’s eight years old and I’ve owned her since she was a green-broke two year old. She’s the quirkiest horse I’ve ever met, from running in one circle around me in the pasture before she lets me catch her, to flexing her nose to the left when she’s nervous, and being the only horse I’ve ever met that WANTS and LOVES to do work in the arena… And I wouldn’t have it any other way!
