Hello my name is Macy Malphurs I am 13 years old and have been competing for six years. I was raised on a cattle ranch where I learned to rope and ride and later began to compete . I barrel race , breakaway rope and pole bend. One of my many accomplishments was making it back to the All American Youth barrel race finals in the 2D with a young horse that has never been hauled or away from home much. I was also Rafter Cross 2015 and 2016 champion barrel racer on my horse Firing Stampede aka Stormi. I would have to say the most inspiring person I know is Amberly Snyder. The difficulties she has over come and still manages to ride through the pain of not being able to use her legs makes me work harder and remember to use every breath God gives me for what it’s worth.
