My name is Macy Brown, I am 13 years old, and am from Kennewick Washington. I absolutely love horses and have a major passion for barrel racing, I love the speed and rush of making a run, but most of all I love how my horse and I get to do something we both love to do, together as a team! My horse Spot and I have a very special bond, and he is definitely my best friend! I Love everything about horses, and barrel racing, and I want to do it the rest of my life. My goal is to someday make it to the NFR, and I know that if I stay determined and dedicated I can achieve it!
My major accomplishment is turning a auction horse that nobody had any hope in into an awesome barrel horse. Everybody thought that Daisy was worthless and could never make it as a barrel horse, but with lots of hard work, Daisy turned into a money earner barrel horse. I am no longer able to run Daisy due to a ligament injury, but I will always appreciate her, for teaching me two very important life qualities: Determination, and dedication. I thought about giving up a lot in her training, but somehow she kept me determined and dedicated, and I will always thank her for teaching me two important qualities I will use the rest of my life.
