BIO
“My name is Mackenzie Dobbs. I was born in Cherry Point, North Carolina on March 7th, 2002. I live in a small beach community in Jamaica Beach, Texas with my two horses. I have a Quarter Horse mare named Allegra and a Paint gelding named Boone.
I barrel race and show in Western and English classes. I compete in all the local 4H horse shows during the school year. This summer I competed in the district horse show and placed top ten in everything I competed in. I placed eighth overall in barrel racing. I also competed in summer series rodeo and got 8th overall in barrel racing as well. In addition to riding, I also compete academically. My horse quiz bowl team and I won 3rd at state and we qualified nationals.”
