Hi my name is mackenzie barrett,I’m 14 years old and I live in Yellowhead County,Alberta. I have been competing seriously for 3 years now. I compete in 3 different rodeo associations, the wildrose rodeo association (WRA),the Lakeland rodeo association (LRA),and I also compete in the Alberta high school rodeo association (AHSRA). My main horses name is seven,his registered name is seven copy’s.he is a 2002 sorrel gelding by copy easy and out of a cee jo bonanza mare. Some of my awards that I am proud of are 2017/2018 Medecine lodge jr.pole pending champion and qualifying for the short go at the Alberta Barrel racing association finals in Ponoka Alberta. My role model is taci bettis because she is a perfect example that you don’t have to have horses in your blookd to be amazing,and she always says “there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel.”
