BIO

Hi, my names Lindzey and I’m from Carlton Oregon. I am an active member of the NHSRA, BRN4D, NYRA, and OBRA. Last summer, I was the average champion Goat Tyer at the Silver State International Rodeo, and was the first girl from Oregon to win it in 27 years. I also qualified for the 2017 National High School Finals Rodeo in barrel racing, and got to represent my state in Gillette Wyoming. I give lessons and help out the younger kids. I always try to be someone that they can look up to and will always be there for them, for they are the future of this sport and the western industry. Winning is always fun, but I am just happy to have this opportunity to compete. Even if I hit a barrel or my goat gets up, as long as I come home with healthy horses I consider that a win.
