BIO

My name is Lily Crickmar and I am a 9th grader at Mount Juliet High School (Mount Juliet, TN). I have been around and ridden horses my entire life and started competing at age seven. I am an astute, results-oriented equestrian with a passion for studying horses and participating in equine events including shows, training, judging, presentation, and leadership opportunities. I am highly responsible, reliable, energetic, organized, and plan ahead to reach desired goals. I have experience across multiple horse disciplines. I learned to ride and compete on walking and spotted saddle horses, have ridden in hunter under saddle and jumping, speed and roping events. Currently, I am focused on rodeo events and am training and competing exclusively in barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying, and breakaway roping. I am currently the 2017 MTJRA Rodeo Queen, I have qualified for NLBRA Finals in Oklahoma this July, as well as NBHA Youth Worlds for the second year in a row. I have multiple state titles in 4-H and TSCA, including 2016 4-H Senior High All-Around Speed Champion. I love rodeo every weekend, and the best part is meeting people from all parts of the U.S. through the sport!
