My Name is Lilly Tindal, I’m 15 years and live on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland Australia. I compete regularly in Barrel Racing and have been for just over two years now. I’m passionate and absolutely love what I do. I compete on my 10 year old quarter horse mare, Twin Oakes Bundy Blonde (Bindi) and we have been learning and growing together for almost 4 years. She is an amazing horse and continually does me proud, she tries her hardest for me and I love her so much. We are a solid team and have worked our way up the ranks this year to running 1D times and are currently placing 1st overall in 2D so far this year. I have some HUGE goals for this year and the rest of my career. I’m extremely passionate about barrel racing and am willing to work extremely hard to become a professional, even if it mean moving in baby steps. I continue to keep a positive mindset even when things aren’t going my way, and I will try my hardest and do whatever I have to do to improve. Nothing can stop me from trying my best and doing what I love even if people are doubtful of me, this simple means I will go out there and prove them wrong. My biggest achievement would have to be qualifying to compete in the 2016 NBHA Youth World Title in Perry, Georgia, even though I didn’t have the chance to go over and compete, it is still my greatest achievement and fueled my passion even more. In the way of role models I definitely could not look past Fallon Taylor, she has continually inspired me to do my best and to keep my goals insight. I’m really looking forward to seeing where barrel racing will take me but I’m 100% certain I love it and will do anything to make my dreams come true.
