“My name is Laykan Skiles and I am from a small town called McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania. I was born on October 21st,1999.I been competing competitively since 2018. Some of the awards I take pride of winning my first breast collar with my old mare, got grand champion 2019 with my new gelding and grand champion 2020 with my gelding. One of my goals is to qualify and compete in the NFR finals My role model is Fallon Taylor because she broke her neck and she didn’t give up reaching her goals. My horse’s name is TalkOfTheTown all the attention is on him at small local shows and big jackpot shows a lot of people notice and respect his love and passion for what he does, and the quality of riding he does.”
