Hi! My name is Latasha McHan, I am 16 years old and I am an 11th grader at MCHS in the small town of Chatsworth Georgia. I am currently the Queen of the Murray County Saddle Club. I have a 9 year old barrel horse named Rosalie, Rosie for short, and I thank god for her everyday.
My parents are Tommy and Marty McHan and I am an only child. I have a best friend named Aubrey and without her family and my family’s love and support, I don’t think I would be where I am today.
I run poles sometimes but my main focus is barrels! My goals are to make it to Youth World and after that, the NFR. I am a member of the Murray Co. Saddle club and I also participate in their monthly fun and open shows! I love to spend time with my family and friends and doing what I love with the people that I love. I’ve never ran in a rodeo unless you count the two exhibition runs that I did a few months ago, but I barrel race at local arenas in the state of GA!
I’ve never been more thankful that I finally have family and friends that support me in everything I do, parents that love me unconditionally, and a barrel horse that could take me all the way!
