BIO

My name is Larissa Byers and I come from a small town called Quarryville in the state of Pennsylvania. I have one horse named Jewel which I use for barrel racing, and pole bending. I am going go be using a horse that we have on our farm named Blaze for goat tying and breakaway roping. On our farm we have 7 horses including 3 minis that are all trained for barrel racing.

I compete in the Central Pennsylvania Youth Rodeo Association. I am the 2017 CPYRA Rodeo Princess. I will go to some fairs and other events in my area to promote the association. I am also in the Rough Riders 4-h Horse and Pony club. I compete in the barrel racing and pole bending events. Last year I went to the Pennsylvania 4-h state show and placed 1oth in poles. This year I competed in the West Lampeter Community Fair and I was the all around grand champion for the evening show. I have had many great accomplishments and hope to achieve more as I learn and grow with my horse.
