BIO
Hi! My name is Kori Beth Thomason. I am from Northeast Louisiana, and I am a junior in high school. Horses, barrel racing, and rodeo have always been a part of my life. I compete in barrel racing and pole bending. Some of my greatest accomplishments have been qualifying for Louisiana High School State Finals in both events every year. I qualified for National Little Britches Finals in both events last year and finished the year in the top 15 in the nation in barrels. I won the Timed Event Championship Junior Barrel Racing title in 2016.
My two quarter horses, Sugarita Flit and Gunsmoke Soiled Dove, are my team mates. Sugar is a pure angel, who always gives 110%, although she suffers from navicular. Dove is a spoiled diva, who keeps me on my toes. We love traveling in our new Lakota LQ trailer. My goals are to qualify for high school nationals and later be part of a college rodeo team.
