“My name is Kennedy Best and I am 14 years old! I am leasing a pony named Viper and he is an 8-year-old grey appaloosa, welsh cross. I am training him to jump and he’s picked it up really well. He’s steady yet eager. I have just introduced him to eventing and he’s a bit hesitant, but he still loves to jump so he gives it his best. he is currently jumping 2’6″”, but considering he’s only been jumping for the past 2 months, he’s really improving.
My main goals as a rider are to get noticed and work my way to be a top eventer in the US. It is my dream to make my passion my lifestyle and my job. I am looking for a sponsor to help me compete in shows. I do not come from a very wealthy background, and it’s hard for me to afford all the expenses of the horse and then also try to pursue my passion and compete.
